A bronze tap, consisting of a slightly tapered cylindrical tube marked by a few small holes through its entire thickness. It has two perpendicular couplings, one of the 'male' type and the other of the 'female' type, both equipped with a bronze 'collar' that facilitated connection with other pipes or valves.
